Job summary

Piper Moss Constructions, a family-run Sydney builder, invites a driven graduate in civil, structural, or construction engineering to join on-site in the first week. You will work directly with the project manager and project engineer, handling real tasks and receiving thorough feedback to build practical skills.

You’ll take site measurements, support QA/QC processes, manage drawings, RFIs, and daily site reporting while spending time with the crews to learn the trade.

Qualifications

• Degree (or final year) in civil, structural or construction engineering.
• You want to be on site, not behind a desk.
• Be careful with numbers and with detail.
• Ask questions when unsure rather than guessing.
• Current driver licence required.

Responsibilities

• Take site measurements and mark up drawings.
• Run quality checklists and help keep ITP records straight.
• Keep document control tidy: drawing registers, revisions, site records.
• Help prepare RFIs and chase the answers.
• Assist with procurement schedules and material take offs.
• Write up site diaries, progress photos and weekly reports.
• Learn the trade by spending real time with the crews.
