Job summary

Zenergy Group in the Sydney area is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor for a fast-paced manufacturing site. This 4-month engagement has strong potential to extend, with you embedded on-site to uphold safety standards and foster a culture of safety across the floor.

You will work closely with plant managers, team leaders and staff to run inspections, lead risk assessments, investigate incidents, and drive improvements to the site’s safety management practices.

Qualifications

• WHS qualification (Diploma or Degree) or equivalent experience.
• Experience as a Safety Advisor in manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of WHS law and safety management systems.
• Proven track record in incident investigations and risk assessments.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Driver's licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead site safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents and near misses to implement fixes.
• Manage Safety Management System improvements.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety training.
• Ensure WHS compliance with legislation and policy.
• Oversee contractor safety processes and permits.
