Job summary

SunRice is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Environment Advisor to join our Leeton team. You will work hands-on across Leeton and Deniliquin sites, strengthening safety culture and advising leaders on risk, wellbeing and environmental practices.

You'll monitor activities, conduct safety walks, lead investigations and coach frontline teams, with travel to sites and a practical, down-to-earth approach to staying compliant and protecting our people.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent is required.
• 2–3 years experience in health, safety, wellbeing or environmental role preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, agriculture, food production or high-risk environments advantageous.
• Experience with incident investigations and safety management systems desirable.
• Knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and strong communication skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible presence across Leeton and Deniliquin sites and coach leaders to meet safety responsibilities.
• Conduct routine site monitoring, safety walks and follow-up on identified risks and actions.
• Provide practical safety, wellbeing and environmental advice to leaders and workers.
