Job summary

Zenergy Safety, Health & Wellbeing is seeking an HSEQ Advisor to support site and office operations. You will lead inspections, audits, and investigations, develop SWMS and safety procedures, and deliver toolbox talks across major projects.

You will collaborate with project managers, unions, and medical providers, maintaining ISO standards and company policies. A strong safety mindset and clear communication are essential for success in a growing business.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is required.
• Current Victorian driver licence and White Card are essential.
• Return to Work Coordinator training (Victoria) is required.
• ICAM Lead Investigator or equivalent is preferred.
• Five years in HSEQ within construction or heavy industry is expected.
• Strong SWMS experience is essential.
• Solid knowledge of WHS legislation and ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
• Familiarity with enterprise agreements and awards in unionised environments is beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to document investigations clearly.

Responsibilities

• Run workplace inspections and project audits and close out corrective actions.
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations with root-cause analysis.
• Write and improve SWMS, risk assessments, procedures and checklists.
• Deliver toolbox talks, training and safety communications for crews.
• Support injury management and return-to-work processes with stakeholders.
• Maintain the integrated management system, including internal audits and certifications.
• Analyse HSEQ trends and monitor legislative changes.
• Apply enterprise agreements and awards to safety and workforce matters.
