Job summary

Evolve Environmental Solutions, based in South-East Queensland, seeks an experienced Construction Team Leader to deliver on-ground environmental construction and landscape works. You will lead crews on erosion control, revegetation and water-sensitive design assets, translating project designs into tangible outcomes.

You will work closely with Project Managers and environmental specialists, maintaining safety and quality while building durable landscapes that perform over time.

Qualifications

• Experience leading on-site environmental construction projects.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental outcomes.
• Capable of translating designs into on-ground deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site activities across environmental construction projects
• Supervise crews, machine operators, plant and subcontractors
• Coordinate work sequencing to meet program, safety and quality requirements
• Deliver works to drawings, specifications and environmental controls
• Implement and maintain erosion and sediment control measures
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure WHS compliance
• Ensure tools, plant and equipment are maintained and serviceable
• Construction of environmental landscapes and natural area assets
• Installation and maintenance of bio-retention systems and drainage features
• Revegetation and planting of native species
• Weed, pest and site management during and after construction phases
