Job summary

Evolve Environmental Solutions seeks an Environmental Offsets Team Leader to supervise a small field crew delivering restoration and offset works across Southeast Queensland. The role is hands-on, outdoors, with emphasis on safety, quality outcomes, and collaboration with Project Managers and Ecologists.

You will lead planting, weed control, fire management, erosion control, and data recording, ensuring on-time completion to high standards while fostering a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading or supervising field staff in environmental restoration, bush regeneration, or land management.
• Strong knowledge of native vegetation, weed species, and control techniques.
• Competent in the safe use of herbicides and small plant/equipment (brush cutters, chainsaws, pumps, sprayers, etc.).
• Current manual driver’s licence (4WD experience).
• White Card and Chemical Accreditation (ACDC or equivalent).
• Understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Experience in largescale, land and or farm management
• Experience in fire management, erosion control, or monitoring of restoration works.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Experience in Forestry planting and site management
• Experience working on environmental offset projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside a small team on-ground restoration and offset works.
• Oversee native planting, weed control, site prep, and maintenance.
• Manage fire management and erosion control activities.
• Ensure safety and timely delivery to project specifications.
• Record field data and complete daily reports.
