BGIS is seeking a Shift Technician – Electrical for a large healthcare campus in Southport, Queensland. You will deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance to ensure safety, reliability and compliance, reporting to the Electrical Team Leader.

Ideal candidates have a Certificate III in Electrotechnology, White Card, EWP, and experience with high voltage environments. You will join a collaborative, safety‑driven team with opportunities for mentoring apprentices and coordinating

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or equivalent) is required.
• Current White Card and EWP licence are essential.
• Experience in electrical maintenance, including exposure to high voltage environments.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Ability to work with digital maintenance platforms.

Responsabilités

• Execute planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across systems including emergency lighting, switchboards, protection systems and HV infrastructure.
• Operate, maintain and optimise critical plant and essential facility infrastructure for reliability.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and rectify faults on electrical and building systems with focus on minimizing downtime.
• Manage and complete work orders within service levels using BGIS CMMS and reporting systems.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to apprentices while working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate and monitor specialist contractors as required.
