Job summary

Viva Energy Australia is seeking an experienced Engineering Draftsperson for a 1-year fixed-term contract to support the Geelong Refinery. The role focuses on reducing the backlog of drawing revisions and updating drawings from field and engineering inputs, with on-site duties and some remote work when appropriate.

Reporting to the Drawing Systems Controller, you will deliver across process, safety, mechanical, piping, instrumentation, electrical, civil and site layout drawings and ensure

Qualifications

• Five years of multi-disciplinary drafting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Raster Design or equivalent raster editing software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver drafting services across process, safety, mechanical, piping, instrumentation, electrical, civil and site layout drawings.
• Produce, revise and maintain high-quality 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD and raster editing tools.
• Update drawings from approved redline mark-ups and field information.
• Review mark-ups and clarify information with engineers and drawing originators.
• Conduct site inspections and field verification to confirm plant conditions.
• Support as-building of operational changes, MOCs and project work.
• Ensure drawings comply with procedures, standards and conventions.
• Progress drawings through checking, approval, revision control and release processes.
• Support document control and maintain drawing records in Lunr.
• Provide progress updates and raise priority issues.
