Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Cadet Drafter to support Adelaide Resources, Industrial & Energy teams. You will work with Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Digital Engineers to deliver mining infrastructure and energy project drawings using AutoCAD and related tools.

You will develop drafting skills across isometrics, P&IDs, 3D models, and single-line diagrams while aligning with design standards and delivery timelines in a multi-disciplinary energy stream.

Qualifications

• Enrolled or eligible to enroll in an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar Associate Degree/ Advanced Diploma).
• Interest in gaining electrical & mechanical design knowledge through on the job experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce designs and associated mechanical and electrical engineering drawings, including isometrics and P&ID diagrams.
• Develop high quality models, drawings and checking skills to ensure timely delivery.
• Liaise with designers and project engineers to align design standards across the Energy business line.
