Job summary

Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician for a full-time, on-site role in Varsity Lakes, AU. You will support mission-critical infrastructure in premier data center facilities and collaborate with remote NOC and client teams.

Two plus years of data center or IT infrastructure experience is required. Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, fiber), experience with Dell/HP/Supermicro servers, and proficiency in English are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in data center or IT infra environments.
• Strong cabling (Cat5e/6/6a, fiber) and server hardware experience.
• Proficient in English with professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
