Job summary

Bouygues Construction Australia is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities in Perth. You will translate project plans into coordinated field work, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery while guiding subcontractors and crews.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage changing priorities on complex civil projects across infrastructure. On-site, full-time with Office-based coordination.

Qualifications

• Diploma, degree, or equivalent in construction, engineering, or related field.
• Significant experience supervising construction work on large projects.
• Proven ability coordinating subcontractors, field teams, and trades.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and safety requirements.
• Experience reading drawings and work plans.
• Clear communication with site and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily site activities with the construction programme.
• Supervise field teams and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
• Communicate work priorities and site constraints to crews.
• Monitor productivity, progress, and material needs; report issues.
• Ensure work complies with drawings, specs, and method statements.
• Promote health and safety procedures on site.
• Coordinate inspections, quality checks, and handle non-conformances.
• Maintain site records and participate in coordination meetings.
