Job summary

Boral is sequencing the Construction Manager role for the St Peters Concrete Batch Plant Project in Sydney, delivering supervision and day-to-day coordination across contractors and operations. The role supports the Senior Project Manager, ensuring safe, compliant, and timely execution of construction activities on site for a 14-month fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications with significant industry experience.
• NSW General Construction Induction (White) Card.
• 5+ years’ experience delivering engineering or construction projects in heavy industry, mining, manufacturing or related sectors.
• Experience coordinating and managing contractors and supporting project delivery from construction through to commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Construction Coordination: day-to-day work coordination of construction crews, subcontractors and tradespeople, site inductions, pre-start meetings, toolbox talks and permits.
• Collaboration: liaise with contractors’ site managers, Boral stakeholders, and design teams to coordinate activities and resolve RFIs.
• Reporting: conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and compile site diary updates.
• Quality & Safety: ensure inspections and test plans meet design specs and safety/environment requirements.
