Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent Site Engineer to manage construction activities for infrastructure projects. You will be the primary technical point of contact on site, coordinating with contractors, surveyors, and the project management team to achieve milestones.

The role requires a B.Tech or National Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and a minimum of 4 years' site experience, with strong reading of drawings and safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• B.Tech or National Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Site Engineer on civil construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring work progresses according to the project schedule.
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents for site execution.
• Conduct quality control inspections and ensure adherence to engineering standards and safety protocols.
• Manage site resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, ensuring efficient utilization.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and the client's representative on site.
• Prepare site progress reports, including daily logs, measurements, and incident reports.
