Job summary

Newly By Healthcarelink Support is seeking Personal Care Assistants for an on-demand, casual role in Wyoming, NSW 2250. You will provide tailored personal care, companionship, and daily living support across client locations.

Ideal candidates have a driver’s licence, police check, WWCC where relevant, and first aid/CPR. The role offers flexible hours, orientation, and opportunities for ongoing learning within a supportive team.

Qualifications

Full Australian Driver's Licence holder with reliable transport.
Current Police Check showing suitability to work with vulnerable people.
Working With Children Check where relevant to client assignments.
Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
Experience in personal care, disability support, aged care, or similar roles is valued.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care tasks including showering, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
Support meal preparation, feeding, and hydration monitoring per care plans.
Perform light household tasks: cleaning, laundry, shopping assistance, and medication reminders.
Provide social engagement, companionship, and emotional support to reduce isolation.
Monitor client condition, report changes to supervisors, and maintain records of care.
Travel between client locations within the service area and adhere to on-demand schedules.
