Job summary

Ben Furney Flour Mills in Dubbo seeks experienced Maintenance Technicians to keep the plant, equipment, and facilities running smoothly on a full-time basis. Afternoon and night shifts with a rotating weekend on-call roster form part of the role.

You will work within a safety-driven team, handling mechanical and electrical fault finding, welding, and fabrication to sustain peak production and minimise downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience as a maintenance tradesperson in a production environment.
• Current driver's license.
• Strong fault-finding skills in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Welding and fabrication skills for production line maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical and electrical equipment to maximise plant uptime.
• Adhere to Safe Operating Procedures and safety culture.
• Collaborate with Production and Maintenance teams across shifts.
• Participate in preventive maintenance programs and documentation.
• Support projects/modifications to improve machinery reliability.
• Supervise contractors on site to ensure safety and minimal disruption.
