Santos Limited in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Short-Term Maintenance Scheduler to lead execution and plan maintenance campaigns at Varanus Island. The role focuses on delivering cost-efficient schedules with a strong emphasis on safety and continuous improvement.

You will work from our Brisbane office with cross-functional teams, ensure material readiness, manage competing priorities and keep schedules aligned with permit and production requirements for reliable energy delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in short-term maintenance scheduling in oil and gas or resources.
• Proficiency in SAP, SharePoint and Prometheus.
• Strong understanding of execution scheduling, resource levelling and maintenance compliance.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain schedule integrity under pressure.
• Effective communication and collaboration across site and Brisbane teams.

Responsabilités

• Develop, refine and accept execution schedules, ensuring all scheduled work is planned and ready to execute.
• Ensure minimum planning standards are met before scheduling and include only approved work orders.
• Confirm material readiness prior to scheduling, including bagging and tagging.
• Schedule work to the day, aligned with SWPP permit planning requirements.
• Optimise the two‑weekly schedule for production utilisation and resource levelling.
• Ensure Safety Critical, preventive and corrective maintenance targets are met.
• Lead fortnightly schedule review meetings and close-out reviews.
• Escalate Priority 1 and 2 work orders with late finish dates.
