Job summary

Offshore Services Australasia (OSA) is seeking a Rescue Crew Officer to join our crew supporting Australian offshore operations. You will perform Search and Rescue, EMS, rappelling, sling loading, passenger transport and winching under challenging conditions, reporting to the aircraft captain to manage the rear cabin safely.

The role spans onshore and offshore environments with day and night rosters and rigorous proficiency training; applicants must meet CASA requirements and maintain high

Qualifications

  • Experience with SAR/EMS operations.
  • Strong safety awareness and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments.
  • Physical fitness and resilience to demanding conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain qualifications – Rescue Crew Officer.
  • Conduct safe flight operations and briefings.
  • Assist with management of aircraft rear cabin during flying operations.
  • Complete pre-flight and post-flight checks and documentation.
  • Report safety deficiencies and assist with equipment replacements.
  • Travel to CHC bases and training locations.
  • Be a safety champion and promote safe practices.
