Job summary

EY’s Oceania Data Office is seeking a Data Office Manager to drive governance, ownership, quality and lifecycle practices across the region, aligning with the Global Data Office and regional teams.

You will coordinate Dataguard readiness, manage stakeholder engagement across time zones, and help embed clear accountabilities and sustainable ways of working while supporting AI-ready data initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering data governance and data management initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder and change management skills.
• Experience in large organizations with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications such as CIPP, CISM or CRISC.
• Exposure to AI-ready data, privacy or regulatory obligations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain data ownership, stewardship, classification and quality.
• Coordinate regional delivery of Dataguard and Data Office initiatives.
• Collaborate with Global Data Office, Risk, IT and Service Lines to align priorities.
• Embed sustainable BAU practices and reporting across Oceania.
• Identify data protection risks and drive control enhancements.
