Job summary

EY is seeking a Data Office Manager for Oceania to lead data ownership, stewardship, and lifecycle programs across the region. You will collaborate with Global Data Office, Risk, and IT to advance AI-ready and standardized data practices while supporting Dataguard readiness and regional communications.

This hands-on role requires strong change management, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to work across time zones. Flexible hours and regional office options across Australia are available.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering data management, governance, risk or compliance initiatives in a large org.
• Understanding of data protection risks and controls, incl. AI data flows and cloud storage.
• Strong stakeholder, change and communication skills across leadership.
• Ability to balance global programs with local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the Oceania Data Office to establish data ownership, stewardship, classification, quality, access and lifecycle practices across the region.
• Support Oceania and global Data Office initiatives, including Data Management uplift, AI-ready data, synthetic data and standard adoption.
• Coordinate with Global Data Office, other regions, Service Lines and Risk to align priorities and deliver data and risk objectives.
• Strengthen Data Office delivery by coordinating stakeholders and establishing sustainable BAU practices and reporting.
• Support Dataguard regional delivery with Risk, Information Security, Technology and global teams on readiness and communications.
• Identify data protection risks and opportunities to enhance controls and provide leadership with impact views.
