Job summary

EY Australia seeks a Manager for the Oceania Data Office to lead data ownership, stewardship, classification, quality and lifecycle across the region. You will collaborate with the Global Data Office, Risk, and Technology to align priorities and deliver data objectives.

This hands-on role supports Dataguard readiness, regional communications and control improvements. The position offers flexible working options across EY offices in Australia and may involve reduced hours as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering data management, governance and risk initiatives in large organisations.
• Exposure to data protection risks, AI data and end-user tooling.
• Certifications in data/privacy or risk guidance are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support data ownership, stewardship, classification, quality, access and lifecycle practices.
• Align Data Office priorities with Global Office, Risk and Technology teams.
• Coordinate Dataguard readiness, communications and ownership across regions.
• Embed sustainable data governance and reporting rhythms across Oceania.
• Identify emerging data protection risks and drive control enhancements.
