Job summary

Allied Health Assistant (Level 1-3) roles at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital within Sydney Local Health District support high-quality patient care in the Occupational Therapy department. You will assist with clinical priorities, manage the equipment loan pool, and help run therapy programs under supervision.

This role offers flexible arrangements, possible 4-hour shifts, and the chance to grow within a leading tertiary hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Equivalent work experience in an allied health or health related setting.
• Successful completion of Certificate III or Certificate IV Allied Health Assistant or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in addressing clinical priorities as directed by the OT team.
• Manage and maintain the equipment loan pool for timely access.
• Administer therapy programs under supervision of occupational therapists.
• Support group therapy sessions as determined by the OT team.
• Update equipment loan register/database and manage overdue returns.
• Transport equipment between wards, storage and patients' homes/cars.
