Job summary

Whole Therapy is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to service the Gold Coast region in a genuinely flexible environment. We tailor roles to suit each clinician and offer strong career progression within a supportive team.

Ideal candidates will hold AHPRA registration, have a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, NDIS worker screening, and a valid driver’s license with a vehicle. We deliver high-quality therapy and collaborate with other providers to achieve client goals.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration is required to practice.
• NDIS worker screening check is required.
• Drivers license and vehicle are required.

Responsibilities

• Conducting home environment assessments and assisting with major and minor home modifications.
• Providing therapy services to participants and building on strengths to develop sustainable long term solutions.
• Accessing and prescribing standard and complex equipment.
• Making recommendations for vehicle modifications.
• Performing functional assessments of occupational performance and developing therapy plans to promote daily living skills.
• Assessing client support needs and assisting with transitions to supported independent living.

About the Role

We work with people under the age of 65 in order to help them reach their goals. Achieving these goals is accomplished by:

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Proficient communication and organizational skills
• The ability to think creatively, think outside the box and rise to a challenge
• Demonstrates efficiency and competence withoccupational therapy processes and frameworks
• Experience in Complex Home Mods will be highly valued
