HealthCare Connected is seeking an Occupational Therapist to work with children or a mixed caseload across Western Sydney, including clinic, community visits, and home-based care. The role emphasizes clinical decision-making over billable targets, with no KPIs and admin handled for you.
The position offers flexibility to work from home or on-site, with a supportive, multidisciplinary team and weekly supervision for professional growth.
No KPIs. No paperwork pile. Just clinical work.
Most Occupational Therapists I speak with tell me the same thing: they trained to work with clients, then spent their week chasing billable targets, admin, rebooking and accounts.
This role is different. There are no billable KPIs, and scheduling, logistics, accounts and admin are handled for you. Clinical decisions are made by clinicians, so your caseload, session lengths and goals are shaped by what your clients need, not by a number.
The role is open to Occupational Therapists at any level, including Senior OTs. You'll work with children or a mixed caseload, whichever you prefer, across Western Sydney (Bella Vista to Parramatta). Your week is split between the clinic, community visits and working from home, alongside a multi-disciplinary team.
We’re a values-driven allied health company with a community-centred approach to care, where staff wellbeing matters as much as client outcomes. Weekly supervision with experienced clinicians supports your clinical reasoning and complex cases. You’ll have clear career pathway options, so you can build your tailored caseload, develop your interests and grow into OT roles that suit you.
In this role, you’ll work closely with clients and families as part of a multidisciplinary team to:
Manage a tailored caseload to your needs, spanning neurodiversity, home modifications, AT and FCAs across community, clinic and NDIS settings.
Deliver evidence-based interventions, including sensory and emotional regulation assessments across the lifespan or paediatrics only.
Lead 1 to 2 junior OTs when you’re ready, or choose no staff management.
Develop intervention plans and goal-focused reports that meet NDIS standards.
Collaborate with allied health professionals for coordinated, connected care.
Degree-qualified Occupational Therapist with at least 1+ years of experience in paediatrics or across the lifespan.
Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Commitment to high clinical standards and ongoing professional development.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build genuine, lasting relationships.
National Police Check, Working With Children Check / Working With Vulnerable People Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
Current Driver's Licence and a registered, insured vehicle.
