Job summary

AIM Therapy for Children in Jindalee is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our brand-new clinic. You’ll support children to build confidence and life skills, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team across clinics, homes and schools.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• A valid Working With Children Check.
• National Police Clearance.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Confident communication skills and ability to connect with kids & families.
• Ability to work independently, while also being a great team player.

Responsibilities

• Completing initial appointments and getting to know new families.
• Running fun, creative therapy sessions in clinics and in the community.
• Collaborating with schools, families and other stakeholders for a joint approach.
• Reviewing therapy journeys and planning next steps as goals are reached.
• Participating in a professional development program with opportunities to grow.

We operate from purpose-built clinics in Balcatta, Joondalup, Canning Vale & Jindalee.

You’ll work alongside Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists and Positive Behaviour Support in a truly collaborative environment. We offer individual and group therapies in clinics, homes, and schools, wherever children need us most.

What the Role Looks Like Day‑to‑Day

• Completing initial appointments and getting to know new families

• Working closely with schools, families and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach for the children we support.
• Reviewing therapy journeys and planning next steps as children reach goals or transition on.
