Job summary

Darling Downs Health is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team in Toowoomba. You will deliver advanced mental health OT in the community, drive recovery-focused outcomes, and lead service improvements alongside a multidisciplinary team.

You will mentor colleagues, support development, and contribute to a culture of learning and excellence while upholding values of compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage.

Qualifications

• Current registration as an Occupational Therapist and eligibility to practise in Australia.
• Strong experience delivering mental health occupational therapy services for adults with complex needs.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to lead service improvement initiatives and support clinical excellence.

As a Senior Occupational Therapist within the Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team (MIRT), you'll play an important role in supporting adults experiencing mental health challenges to build independence, wellbeing, and participation in everyday life. From delivering advanced clinical care to driving recovery-focused outcomes in the community, you'll work with a collaborative multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping people achieve meaningful and lasting change.
