Job summary

Darling Downs Health in Toowoomba invites an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team (MIRT). You will deliver high-quality assessments, plan interventions, and support recovery-focused outcomes in the community, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You will lead service improvement initiatives, mentor colleagues, and contribute to clinical excellence while upholding the values of compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation, and courage.

Qualifications

  • Current registration as an Occupational Therapist and eligibility to practise in Australia.
  • Strong experience delivering mental health occupational therapy services for adults with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead service improvement initiatives, contribute to clinical excellence, and support the development of others.
  • Postgraduate study in mental health and/or experience leading practice improvement or service development projects.
