Job summary

Ability Action Australia is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our South Perth team in a multidisciplinary environment. Tailor your caseload to pediatrics, adults, or a mixed caseload with travel and FIFO opportunities across regions.

You’ll work with 1:1 supervision, grow professionally, and enjoy flexible full-time or part-time options, with a mix of home, community, and clinic settings. MedHealth support included.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proactive, client-centred mindset with a desire to innovate and grow.
• Genuine passion for working in the disability and community sector.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload that aligns with areas of interest.
• Conducting clinical assessments across emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical functions.
• Developing individualised, evidence-based therapy goals and interventions.
• Providing environmental modification advice for homes, schools, workplaces and residential settings.
• Recommending and facilitating Assistive Technology (AT) to promote independence.
• Staying compliant with current legislation and NDIS guidelines.
• Working collaboratively within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
