Job summary

Better Rehab is hiring Occupational Therapists to join our team across South Australia. We provide assessment and therapy services for clients aged 6–65 in community settings, with opportunities to support home modifications and assistive technology.

You will work with multi-disciplinary teams, under supervision, and contribute to client-centred plans while meeting NDIA/NDIS requirements. A rewarding role offering the salary plus super and a bonus where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Own car and a valid driver's license
• AHPRA registration
• Police Check
• Working with Children Check
• NDIS Working Screening Check

Responsibilities

• Present both assessment based and therapeutic interventions to pediatrics and/or adults out in the community
• Assess participant needs and design appropriate therapy plans. Working with participants with a range of conditions including neurological, ASD and many more.
• Provide support in the areas of home modifications; equipment prescription including mobility aids, positioning supports, bathroom aids and seating; and assistive technology including self-care, low tech and learning aids.
• Collaborating with your multidisciplinary team
• Celebrating “Weekly Wins”
• Collaborating with your dedicated Clinical Supervisor and attend regular in-services
• Reporting directly to the NDIS
