About us:The Child Development Service (CDS), based at the Cairns North Community Health Facility, is a community-based multidisciplinary allied health service supporting children aged 0-5 years with complex developmental delays and their families. The service provides coordinated assessment, diagnostic formulation, brief intervention, and referral pathways, including support with access to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Early Childhood Early Intervention program, while assisting families to navigate services and achieve positive developmental outcomes for their children.
