Job summary

Procare Group is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join the NSW team in Alexandria. You will work in a supportive, experienced team with exposure to diverse cases, schemes and career progression.

You must have AHPRA registration, police clearance and WWCC, with experience in ADL assessments. Full-time preferred, part-time and contractor options in Sydney/NSW considered. Hybrid working available.

• Registered with AHPRA in Australia.
• Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Support people to recover and return to pre-injury activities and seek employment using clinical skills.
• Conduct initial, functional, ADL, ergonomic, pre-employment and worksite assessments.
• Case management across workers compensation, CTP, DVA, life insurance and private industry.
• Liaise with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other stakeholders to drive positive outcomes.

Job description

We are seeking a passionate and driven Occupational Therapist to join our expanding NSW team based in our head office in Alexandria. You will be working as part of a highly experienced, knowledgeable and fun team! You will have the opportunity for exposure to a variety of customers, different schemes and varying complexities of cases and career progression.

About You

Occupational Therapist with full AHPRA registration.

You’ll Also Need

• Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
• Desire to work in Occupational Rehabilitation
• Experience conducting ADL assessments (essential)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking & problem solving
• Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude & positive approach; and
• Genuine commitment to continuous improvement.

This is ideally a full time position however part time will be considered. We are also keen to hear from contractors in Metro Sydney and across NSW.

Day To Day You Will Be

• Supporting people to recover and return to pre-injury activities and seek employment using your clinical skills and knowledge
• Conducting a range of different assessment services including: Initial, Functional, Activities of Daily Living, Ergonomic, Pre-Employment and Worksite Assessments
• Case management across various jurisdictions including Workers Compensation, CTP, DVA, Life Insurance and private industry
• Liaison with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.
