Job summary

Aged & Community Services Australia is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to deliver home care services across the Albany region. You will operate from Albany with a Mount Barker base for admin and equipment, collaborating with a local physiotherapist and Perth-based team as required.

The position offers full-time employment, company cars for community visits, and a supplied laptop. You will work with an aged care caseload, performing functional and cognitive assessments and care plan

Qualifications

• OT degree with current AHPRA registration.
• National Police Clearance and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Full driver's license with willingness to regional travel.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Autonomy in a community role supporting older adults at home
• Immediate start
• Coordinate with Physio and wider allied health team, Deliver home-care services for older adults across Albany, with bases in Albany and Mount Barker for admin and support, You'll work autonomously and collaborate with a local physio, and check in with the Perth team as required

About the Employer

Our client is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to deliver home care services within aged care across the greater Albany area. You'll start each day from the Albany base, then travel to clients' homes. You can also utilise the Mount Barker base as needed for documentation, team touchpoints and equipment-a laptop is included.

About the Candidate

• Degree in Occupational Therapy + current AHPRA registration
• National Police Clearance and NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Valid driver's licence and comfort with frequent regional driving
• Experience within aged care above 2 years
• Pay rate: $42 - $55 per hour
• Salary option also available: $80,000 - $110,000 + Super
• Full-time, long-term role (open to part-time for the right candidate)
• Company cars for community travel + laptop provided
• Mixed home care (aged care) caseload: functional & cognitive assessments, home/environmental assessments, equipment prescription, falls prevention, reablement programs, and care plan reviews
