Job summary

BaptistCare is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team across Mid-North Coast/Forster/Taree and surrounding areas, delivering evidence-based OT assessments and interventions to help older Australians stay independent at home.

You will work in a supportive multidisciplinary team, focusing on reablement and restorative care, with flexible arrangements and a values-driven, age-friendly approach to community living.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration.
• Demonstrated ability to assess occupational therapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients in the community.
• Post graduate experience in aged care services, rehabilitation and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, focusing on reablement and restorative care.

About the Candidate

• Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration
• Demonstrated ability to assess occupational therapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients in the community
• Post graduate experience working with in a variety of aged care services, including rehabilitation and community settings
• Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models
• Confident working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated computer literacy

• Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain
• Unrestricted driver's licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage car insurance.
