Job summary

Talk Health Therapy is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our growing team in a role focused on adults with NDIS. You will deliver community-based OT services, perform FCAs, Assessments for Assistive Technology, and equipment prescriptions.

The role supports capacity-building and collaborative care with families and health professionals. The position offers a permanent full-time schedule with a company vehicle or car allowance, PD funding, supervision, and a flexible diary

Qualifications

• Qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 3 years' Occupational Therapy experience.
• NDIS experience.
• Experience completing Functional Capacity Assessments and NDIS documentation.
• Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services across a range of client presentations.
• Perform Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs) for adults.
• Conduct assessments and recommendations for Assistive Technology.
• Prescribe and recommend equipment as appropriate.
• Engage in capacity-building interventions and collaborate with families, support coordinators and healthcare professionals.

About the Role

You’ll provide community-based occupational therapy services to adult NDIS participants, including:

• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services across a range of client presentations
• Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs)
• Assistive Technology assessments and recommendations
• Equipment prescription and recommendations
• Capacity-building interventions
• Collaboration with families, support coordinators and healthcare professionals

What You’ll Receive

• $90,000-$110,000 + super (dependent on experience)
• Permanent full-time position

• $2,500 annual professional development allowance
• Two paid Professional Development days per year
• Regular clinical supervision and mentoring
• Sustainable KPI target of 26 billable hours per week (inclusive of travel and report writing)

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 3 years' Occupational Therapy experience
• Previous NDIS experience
• Experience completing Functional Capacity Assessments and NDIS documentation
• Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
