Job summary

RehabCo is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Newcastle-based community team. You will work across home, school, clinic, work and community settings to help clients achieve independence and meaningful participation.

You will be supported by a multidisciplinary team and have opportunities for mentoring, supervision, and professional development. The role offers flexible full-time or part-time arrangements, admin time for documentation, and a company vehicle where needed.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain).
• Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain).
• Current unrestricted driver7s licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to NDIS participants across the lifespan.
• Complete functional capacity assessments and reports.
• Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to participant goals.
• Assess and recommend assistive technology and home modifications.
• Support participants with daily living skills, sensory and motor skills, and community participation.
• Collaborate with families, carers, support coordinators, schools and other allied health professionals.
• Provide community-based OT and intervention for adults and aged care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and NDIS-compliant reporting.
• Manage your own caseload with autonomy and flexibility.

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
