Job summary

NeuroVita on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a small, clinically focused team with a neuro caseload. You’ll work with stroke, brain injury, Parkinson’s, MS and more, with a transition pathway if developing neuro skills, and supervised support to maintain high standards of practice.

You'll see diverse clients across home visits and telehealth, with KPI-driven caseloads, flexible days (3–5 per week), vehicle allowance, and substantial CPD support to grow

Qualifications

• Registered OT with AHPRA — general registration.
• 2+ years post-graduation experience.
• Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working independently in home and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver neuro-focused OT services to a diverse caseload.
• Complete reports and assessments for NDIS and other funding lines.
• Provide weekly and monthly supervised sessions with the team.
• Travel to client homes across the Gold Coast region; telehealth when appropriate.

Occupational Therapist - Neuro Caseload | Gold Coast

Early in my career, I had a complex neuro client and knew I wasn't at the standard they needed. When I asked for help, I was told to keep going. That moment never left me. I built NeuroVita so OTs who love neuro get the supervision, support and caseload to do this work properly.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced OT to join a small, clinically focused team doing genuinely meaningful work.

Bring neuro experience and your caseload will be predominantly neuro — stroke, brain injury, Parkinson's, MS, MND, spinal cord injury, CP and more. Still building your neuro skills? You'll start on a transition pathway: a mix of general and neuro clients, with neuro increasing as your confidence and skills grow. Either way, the clinical conversations, the supervision and the standard of practice here are top notch.

Varied work, not just NDIS:

you'll see DVA, NIISQ, WorkCover, CTP, aged care and private clients too, so there's real variety and a steady flow of referrals.

New to some of these schemes? No stress — we know each one inside out, and we'll show you exactly what each needs, from referral to discharge.

Home and community-based visits across the Gold Coast region, with telehealth flexibility.

Salary and Benefits

• $90,000–$115,000 + superannuation (full-time, pro rata for part-time), negotiable based on experience
• Monthly bonus when you exceed your KPI — we'll walk you through exactly how it works at interview

• Structured support to build efficient clinical workflows — so admin doesn't build up and become overwhelming

KPI and Workload

We're transparent about this because vague promises about sustainable workloads have burned too many good OTs.

KPI: 25 billable hours per week (full-time, pro rata for part-time).

This includes face-to-face sessions, report writing, AT assessments and trials, home modification assessments, and all other claimable NDIS and funding line items. Not just face-to-face time. Travel is counted at 50% toward your KPI target.

We've done the maths on what a realistic home-visit neurological caseload actually looks like. For an experienced OT, 25 hours is achievable while keeping clinical quality and documentation high — and we'll back you with the systems and support to do it.

Requirements

• Easy to talk to, and proactive in keeping case managers in the loop
• Comfortable working independently in home and community settings
• Genuinely curious — a lifelong learner
• Current driver's licence and a reliable, insured car
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
