Job summary

CORE OT Pty Ltd in Brisbane seeks a passionate Occupational Therapist for a full-time, community-based role serving pediatric and adult clients.

You will assess, plan and deliver tailored therapy in homes, schools and community settings, working with families and teams to promote participation and independence. AHPRA registration is required, and experience with NDIS is valued.

Qualifications

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience with the NDIS is highly regarded.
• Interest or experience in pediatric therapy is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in community-based settings.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transport.
• Experience with assistive technology is an advantage.
• Experience or understanding of mental health is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments in home, school, workplace and community.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy and rehabilitation plans.
• Provide ongoing intervention to support functional independence and goal achievement.
• Collaborate with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports per NDIS and standards.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our growing team in a full-time, community-focused role. You will work closely with clients across a diverse range of needs, including both pediatric and adult populations, delivering tailored therapy solutions that empower meaningful participation in everyday activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments in natural environments (home, school, workplace, community)
• Develop and implement individualized therapy and rehabilitation plans
• Provide ongoing intervention to support functional independence and goal achievement
• Collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in line with NDIS and professional standards
• Adapt therapy strategies to suit diverse client needs and environments

About You

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy practices and rehabilitation techniques
• Experience with or understanding of the NDIS (highly regarded)
• Interest or experience in pediatric therapy (desirable)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in community-based settings
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transport
• Additional skills in assistive technology or mental health (advantageous)
