Job summary

Blacktown-Mt Druitt Hospitals is seeking a provisional fellow to advance in obstetric and gynaecological care, progressing through the RANZCOG Advanced Training Program toward FRANZCOG. The role requires MBBS or equivalent and eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia, with prior FRANZCOG training and strong clinical decision skills.

The position involves working in a complex clinical setting, under supervision, and contributing to multidisciplinary teams and education

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent and registered or eligible with the Medical Board of Australia.
• FRANZCOG Fellowship completed by commencement or equivalent.
• Proficiency in basic and advanced life support.
• Experience in obstetric and gynaecology and education/training.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality obstetric and gynecological care in a complex clinical environment.
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat and consult female patients in pregnancy, puerperium and gynaecological issues.
• Undertake clinical rotations and participate in 24-hour shift rosters.
• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and training.
