NSW Health invites applications for a Staff Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Blue Mountains Hospital. The role supports intrapartum care, antenatal clinics, and Gynaecology theatre with flexible up to 1.0FTE and permanent status.

Applicants must hold FRANZCOG or be eligible, be registered with AHPRA, and demonstrate leadership in teaching and multidisciplinary teamwork. An WWCC and vaccinations are required.

Qualifikationen

• Registration with AHPRA is required.
• FRANZCOG fellowship or equivalent is required by the Health Insurance Act and NSW Staff Specialists Award.
• Broad-based generalist expertise in obstetrics and gynaecology including intrapartum care, antenatal clinics, theatre and acute presentations.
• Strong teaching and supervision track record for junior staff.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for multidisciplinary teams.

Aufgaben

• Provide expert medical assessment and management in O&G across NBMLHD.
• Cover intrapartum care, antenatal clinics, Gynaecology theatre and acute presentations.
• Engage in supervision and teaching of junior medical staff.
• Contribute to quality assurance and research as required by the department.
