Job summary

Vocus is seeking an Obligations & Controls Lead - Energy to support Energy Operations in meeting regulatory, policy and operational obligations. This first-line role maintains obligation registers, documents controls and strengthens governance across Energy Operations.

You will conduct control testing, identify gaps, support remediation, and prepare governance updates with strong analytical reporting. The role offers a hybrid work environment and opportunities to influence regulatory outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance, risk, governance, controls or assurance environments.
• Experience in a regulated industry.
• Ability to translate obligations into operational controls.
• Strong analytical and reporting capability.
• Experience with audit, assurance or control testing is desirable.

The Opportunity

The Obligations & Controls Lead - Energy is a first-line risk and compliance role responsible for supporting Energy Operations to meet its regulatory, policy and operational obligations.

The role maintains obligations registers, documents controls, performs monitoring and testing, supports remediation activities and strengthens operational governance across Energy Operations.
