Job summary

Paxus - Technology + Digital Talent is seeking a seasoned M365 Lead Engineer to shape the secure collaboration platform for a large Federal Government environment in Canberra. You will own the architecture, design and delivery, ensuring alignment with security, governance and cross-cloud integration.

Ideal candidates bring senior Microsoft 365 expertise, government-security experience, and a proven track record leading engineering teams.

Qualifications

Strong experience designing and delivering complex Microsoft 365 environments.
Background in enterprise architecture or senior solution architecture roles.
Solid understanding of identity, security and governance in Microsoft 365.
Experience across complex cloud or multi-cloud environments.
Proven technical leadership across engineering and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture and design of a secure Microsoft 365 environment.
Provide technical leadership across platform delivery and governance.
Ensure solutions align with milestones, architecture principles and security requirements.
Engage with project managers, technical teams, stakeholders and Cyber/GRC.
Lead key technical decisions across the platform lifecycle.
Identify and manage technical risks and escalations.
Coordinate cross-team activities and resolve complex engineering issues.
Represent engineering in governance and executive forums.
Ensure integration with existing systems, cloud services and external providers.
