Job summary

St John of God Geelong Hospital is seeking passionate Enrolled and Registered Nurses to join our Medical, Surgical and Inpatient Units on a casual basis. This role offers flexibility, variety, and the chance to work across multiple wards.

You will deliver patient-centred care, support multidisciplinary teams, perform assessments, plan and evaluate care, and maintain clear documentation, with shifts across AM, PM and night hours to suit your availability.

Qualifications

• Requires current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse.
• Experience in acute medical, surgical or inpatient hospital environments preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills with ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

**Your Position at St John of God Geelong Hospital**We are seeking passionate and motivated **Enrolled &** **Registered Nurses** to join our Medical, Surgical and Inpatient Units at **St John of God Geelong Hospital** on a **casual basis**.This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Nurses looking for flexibility, variety and the opportunity to work across a range of clinical environments. You will care for a diverse patient cohort across our medical, surgical and inpatient wards, gaining exposure to a broad range of specialties and patient presentations.Working alongside experienced and supportive multidisciplinary teams, you will have the opportunity to utilise and further develop your clinical skills while delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.**Casual shifts are available across a variety of wards and may include AM, PM and night shifts**, providing flexibility to suit your availability.**The Position*** Provides direct, comprehensive and patient-centred nursing care in accordance with established hospital policies, procedures and Care Paths.* Works collaboratively with patients, families, medical staff and the wider multidisciplinary team to achieve positive clinical outcomes.* Assists with the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for allocated patients.* Demonstrates sound clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, recognising and escalating changes in patient condition as clinically appropriate.* Maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation and communicates relevant patient information effectively during handover and throughout the patient journey.**About You**To succeed in this role, you will hold **current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse** and have recent experience within an acute medical, surgical or inpatient hospital environment.You will bring strong clinical assessment, communication and interpersonal skills, together with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
