Job summary
Griffith University invites applications for a Lecturer (Level B) Nursing in a teaching-focused role. You will undertake teaching, course coordination and curriculum development, with eligible supervision of Honours and research higher degree students.
This continuing, full-time appointment is based primarily at Griffith University Gold Coast; you may be required to work across other Griffith locations. The role supports learning and teaching research across nursing programs.
Qualifications
- Hold unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with Ahpra.
- Possess a Master's qualification in Nursing (or equivalent) and/or hold, or be nearing completion of, a PhD in Nursing or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate a track record in tertiary teaching.
- Desirable is expertise in infection prevention and control, mental health nursing, or aged care.
Responsibilities
- Teach nursing courses and coordinate curricula.
- Develop and enhance nursing curricula and course materials.
- Supervise Honours and research higher degree students where eligible.
- Engage in learning and teaching scholarship to inform teaching practice.
