Job summary

Griffith University is seeking a Lecturer (Level B) in Nursing for a teaching-focused role based primarily at the Gold Coast campus. You will undertake teaching, course coordination and curriculum development, with opportunities to supervise Honours and research higher degree students where eligible.

The position requires demonstrated clinical nursing expertise and teaching experience, and may involve cross-site work as Griffith operates across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Hold unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with Ahpra.
• Possess a Master’s qualification in Nursing (or equivalent) and/or be nearing the completion of a PhD in Nursing or related discipline.
• Demonstrate a track record in tertiary teaching.
• Desirable: expertise in infection prevention and control, mental health nursing, or aged care.

Responsibilities

• Lead teaching, course coordination and curriculum development as a Lecturer (Level B).
• Contribute to learning and teaching research or scholarship.
• Possibility to supervise Honours and research higher degree students if eligible.
• Work across Griffith locations as required, primarily based at Griffith University Gold Coast.
