Job summary

University of the Sunshine Coast invites applications for a Lecturer in Nursing within the School of Health. Based at the Sunshine Coast, you will deliver contemporary nursing education, link theory to practice, and support student success across undergraduate and honours programs.

You will contribute to research, build partnerships with healthcare providers, supervise HDR candidates, and enhance graduate outcomes in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Doctoral qualification completed or near-completed in a relevant field.
• Current AHPRA nurse registration in Australia.
• Demonstrated teaching effectiveness for higher education curricula.
• Evidence of research, including publications or supervision.
• Established connections with professional bodies and healthcare providers.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative approach with commitment to development.
• Experience in academic administration, such as course coordination.
