Job summary

The University of Tasmania is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join the School of Nursing, Health portfolio. You will contribute to student success by preparing pre-registration nursing students and delivering high-quality undergraduate teaching with online and in-person formats.

Engagement in curriculum development, unit coordination, and evidence-based practice is essential, with opportunities to contribute to research and collaborate with health partners regionally and nationally.

Qualifications

Current Ahpra registration as a Registered Nurse with no conditions.
Graduate certificate minimum; PhD or Masters desirable.
Experience in university-level teaching across undergraduate programs.
Experience managing and coordinating units and developing nursing curricula.
Engagement with innovative teaching approaches and quality improvement.
Recency in nursing practice, including a specialty area.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality undergraduate (and postgraduate, if applicable) teaching.
Coordinate units, develop curricula, and use online/face-to-face delivery.
Engage in collaborative research or scholarly activity as required.
Contribute to teams and partnerships within the university and with external bodies.
Uphold University values and foster a safe, vibrant campus culture.
Support educational preparation of pre-registration nursing students.
