Job summary

Griffith University on the Gold Coast seeks a Senior Lecturer (Level C) or Associate Professor (Level D) in nursing to contribute to teaching and research within the School of Nursing and Midwifery. The role involves course convening, supervision of Honours and HDR students, and leadership roles as required.

Qualifications

• Hold a PhD in Nursing or a related discipline, with unrestricted Ahpra registration.
• Demonstrated research track record and commitment to teaching excellence, including course coordination and curriculum development.
• Proven success in attracting competitive research funding and publishing high-quality papers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and innovate in nursing education, designing engaging learning experiences for contemporary healthcare practice.
• Conduct and lead impactful research that advances nursing knowledge and improves health outcomes.
• Provide academic leadership and mentorship to staff and HDR students, supporting development of the nursing discipline.
