Job summary

IHNA in Perth, WA seeks a Course Coordinator to lead the Diploma of Nursing program. You will oversee course delivery, student engagement, assessment processes, and compliance with ASQA, ANMAC, and national vocational education standards.

You will collaborate with trainers, clinical facilitators, compliance teams, and academics to ensure a high-quality learning experience and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in course coordination or academic leadership
• Experience in vocational education and nursing education environments
• Current registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse Div 1

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation of units of study.
• Plan and manage contact and interaction between Educators and students.
• Ensure that high standards of teaching and learning are maintained.
• Identify potential improvements to teaching and learning infrastructure, resources and practices.
• Regularly update the teaching program in accordance with current industrial practice.
• Organize the year plan and course timetable systematically.
• Schedule classes, clinical placements and allocating classes to the educators promptly.
• Conduct staff appraisals and performance management.
• Managing compliance of Educators.
