Job summary

WA Country Health Service’s Geraldton Hospital seeks motivated Assistants in Nursing to join a multidisciplinary team. You will support delivery of safe, quality patient care under supervision and gain valuable experience in a supportive hospital setting.

Eligibility includes enrolment in NMBA-approved programs or a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance, with strong interpersonal, written and numeracy skills and the ability to work well in a team with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Evidence of enrolment in NMBA approved nursing programs.
• Diploma of Nursing – completion of stages 1 and 2, or 50% NMBA registration.
• Certificate III in Health Services Assistance accepted with stated criteria.
• Effective interpersonal, written, verbal and numeracy skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with minimal supervision.
• Digital capability to access online information and complete online learning.
