Only About Children is seeking a confident Room Leader for our Nursery in Woori Yallock. You will lead a nurturing team, shape daily rhythms and ensure child safety while supporting families within a close-knit campus near the Yarra Valley.

The role requires a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher, and experience leading a room or team. We offer above award pay and comprehensive development opportunities within a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Leadership, mentoring and communication skills.
• Understanding of the EYLF, NQF, child safety and inclusive practice.
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Shape the rhythm of the day with calm routines and clear expectations.
• Lead programs that follow children's interests and stretch new ideas.
• Guide planning, documentation, reflection and daily practice with the team.
• Oversee supervision, ratios, room routines and child safety practices.
• Build respectful partnerships with families and share the day with care.
• Contribute to QIP, audits, Responsible Person shifts and quality outcomes.
