Job summary

Able Nursery on the Gold Coast, Australia, is seeking a Nursery Hand with hands-on nursery/landscape experience to support planting, pruning and stock handling.

You will work outdoors up to 8 hours, be physically fit, lift stock, pot trees, and assist with deliveries and orders. A driver’s license is required; a horticulture certificate is highly regarded. Three days per week on average is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in the nursery/landscape industry.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy stock and work outdoors for 8 hours.
• Driver's license required.
• Certificate in horticulture highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Trim, prune, stake and weed plants in the nursery.
• Pot trees and larger stock.
• Pick/pack orders and assist with deliveries.
• General nursery duties as required.

We are a family-owned nursery, based in Yatala, Northern Gold Coast. We are looking to hire a Nursery Hand that has experience working in the Nursery/Landscape industry. This role will primarily involve working in the nursery, trimming, pruning, staking and weeding plants. The role will also include other various nursery duties including;

You must have at least 2 + years in the industry, and a drivers license. A certificate in horticulture will be highly regarded.
